Why does the tuner need microphone access?
Without microphone input the app cannot measure the pitch you play. The mic is used only for local pitch detection.
Does the tuner work offline?
Yes. Internet is not required for tuning, only for installing and updating the app.
What if auto detection picks the wrong string?
Noise or weak tone can confuse detection. Switch to manual string selection and pluck the string clearly.
